James Waters appointed NYCOS Chair

NYCOS has appointed James Waters as its new Chair of the Board of Trustees. James is Director of the Lammermuir Festival, Creative Director for Classical Music at Perth Concert Hall and classical programmer at the Bath Festival.

NYCOS Release: A Burns Sequence

NYCOS choirs have featured on two Reflections at the Quay broadcasts whilst ‘Cantos Sagrados’ was featured as album of the week on BBC Radio Scotland Classics Unwrapped.

Over the Rainbow

On Thursday 30 April, NYCOS singers and staff across the country joined with members of Music Education Partnership Group in singing Over the Rainbow in support of the NHS and all keyworkers.

Album Release: Cantos Sagrados

Conducted by Christopher Bell, the National Youth Choir of Scotland is joined by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra for the premiere recording of ‘Cantos Sagrados’ in the orchestral version.

Remembrance Sunday

This Sunday marks 100 years since the Armistice was signed in November 1918, bringing an end to the First World War. Throughout the day NYCOS Choirs will be taking part in remembrance services and broadcasts.
