National Youth Choir of Scotland to tour the country

The National Youth Choir of Scotland is back on tour this summer, bringing its mighty performance of Requiem to four stunning venues across Scotland from Friday 19 to Monday 22 August 2022.

Maurice Duruflé’s superlative Requiem is one of the glories of the choral repertoire and one of his few completed works surviving for posterity. Dedicated to the memory of the composer’s father, this profoundly beautiful, emotionally shattering and wonderfully atmospheric piece never fails to make an impact – especially when conducted by Artistic Director Christopher Bell.

Christopher Bell says: “I am tremendously excited to be able to mark the return to live performances with Scotland’s award-winning National Youth Choir with a four city  tour of Scotland. The intensity of our performance of Duruflé Requiem will move and inspire our audiences. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Scotland’s finest young singers.”
