We’re thrilled to introduce three fantastic new team members who’ve recently joined us at NYCOS. These appointments come at a perfect time as we approach our 30th anniversary. Each brings unique expertise that’ll help us continue supporting Scotland’s young singers in reaching their potential. Welcome to the team, Moilidh, Alison, and Isabelle! 🎵
Alison Smith – General Manager
Alison brings her extensive TV production management background to the General Manager position. With a Media and Communication degree from Glasgow Caledonian, she’s got the organisational skills we need to keep everything running smoothly.
Moilidh NicGriogair – Creative Learning Producer
A Royal Conservatoire graduate, Moilidh first discovered the Kodály approach through our own Lucinda Geoghegan during her studies. She’s been delivering music sessions across Renfrewshire and working with groups like the RSNO Youth Chorus. “I believe passionately that all young people should have access to quality music making experience,” she says.
Isabelle Orford – National Choirs Producer
Isabelle joins us as National Choirs Producer after nearly a decade with the Hallé, where she worked across their youth orchestra and six choirs. Her experience includes managing BBC Proms and Edinburgh International Festival performances, plus international tours. “I’m delighted to begin working with the renowned NYCOS musicians and staff,” she shares.
