Singing opportunities at the highest level for young people across Scotland

NYCOS National Choirs provide prestigious singing opportunities for Scotland’s young singers. Membership for  NYCOS National Choirs is granted by annual audition and is open to singers who are born, resident or studying in Scotland or of Scottish descent. The basis of the choirs’ activities stem from rehearsal courses where time is split between individual vocal coaching, musicianship sessions and sectional and full rehearsals.

Christopher Bell, Artistic Director, has overall responsibility for the national courses and is supported by Isabelle Orford as National Choirs Producer and Margaret Izatt as Head of Singing.
