To celebrate our 30th anniversary, we return to Carl Orff’s iconic Carmina Burana. This exhilarating cantata, famous for its dramatic opening O Fortuna, sets 24 medieval poems alive with rhythm, colour and vivid storytelling.
The programme also includes the world premiere of The World by Jay Capperauld, with text by Robert Louis Stevenson, and Jonathan Dove’s The Passing of the Year.
Conducted by Christopher Bell, 110 of Scotland’s finest young singers perform with two pianos and percussion in a powerful celebration of our past, present and future.
