Try a day at NYCOS National Boys Choir!

You may know a boy aged 10-15 who might really enjoy singing, but is unsure about a residential course, being away from home, with people he doesn’t know and has no idea what to expect. That’s why we are inviting him to our free experience day – 8th April 2026! The boys will join our choir for the day, play singing welcome games and learn fun songs with our very friendly expert music staff. At the end of the afternoon, everyone will come together for a performance to share what they have learned. Snacks and a hot lunch are provided for the boys and there will also be a recreation period led by our welfare staff.

This day provides a supportive and encouraging setting in which boys can engage with high-quality choral training and see what our courses are like. It also allows families to gain a clear insight into the atmosphere and structure of National Boys Choirs: you can see around and ask questions.

Optional: In addition, on Saturday 11th April, National Boys Choir will give a concert in St Michael’s Church, Linlithgow at 3:00pm. Boys who attend the Experience Day are welcome to attend the concert (with a parent) – no charge – and, if they would like to, join us to sing the songs that we all learnt together.
