Go For Bronze, Silver, Gold

Go for Bronze, Go for Silver and Go for Gold form a series of six workbooks, two under each title, carefully graded to teach essential musicianship skills using the principles of Zoltán Kodály. Initially developed for choir use, this course will help establish fundamental musical skills for singers and instrumentalists alike. Each workbook is intended to take a year in parallel with choir or classroom activities, though the pace may vary to accommodate differing abilities. The starting age could be as young as seven years old.

Activities include games as well as written and singing exercises to be done as a group activity, with the main emphasis to provide the student with the confidence to sing well at sight and to develop the musician from within.

The Teacher Book provides all the necessary instructions for anyone seeking to deliver Go for Bronze, Silver or Gold. It includes an introduction to the principles of Kodály and how to teach them.
