There are NYCoS Area Choirs in Aberdeen,  Angus, Edinburgh, Dumfries, Dundee, Falkirk, Galloway, Inverness, Isle of Lewis, Midlothian, Renfrewshire, Stirling and West Lothian. Qualified music staff are employed to assist in the running of these choirs. Our staff are trained in Kodály musicianship by our own qualified Kodály Instructor. NYCoS is always keen to hear from anyone who is interested in working with the  NYCoS Area Choirs. Please send a letter of interest and your CV to Lorna Rudden, NYCoS Area Choirs Manager.

The basis for all NYCoS National Choirs' activities stems from annual residential courses usually held in April (National Boys Choir and National Girls Choir) and July (NYCoS/NYCoS Training Choir). These are normally held in boarding school accommodation during the holiday periods at various locations throughout Scotland, where the non-musical activities for the choir members are supervised by house staff. We would be keen to hear from anyone interested in this type of work. Please write a letter of interest, enclosing your CV, to Ruth Townsend, National Choirs Manager. First Aid and/or Lifesaving qualifications are desirable.
