Geraldine Relph

Geraldine Relph is a musician educator and Kodály practitioner with Music Generation Offaly Westmeath, delivering their Kodály programme to a number of primary schools across the counties of Offaly and Westmeath in the midlands of Ireland.

A music graduate of NUI Maynooth and the Queen’s University of Belfast, it was after having her own children that Geraldine began researching music and childhood development and came across the Kodály philosophy through Kindermusik. Having established her own practice as an early years music practitioner, Geraldine joined Music Generation Offaly Westmeath in 2013 and has been teaching a variety of programmes since, including music in SEN settings, whole class instrument tuition, community music tuition, and choral projects, as well as Kodály music education.

Music Generation is Ireland’s National Music Education Programme. A Music Network initiative, co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, The Department of Education and Skills, and Local Music Education Partnerships.
