Biography

Born in Edinburgh, James went on to study at Birmingham University and Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He has had a wide-ranging career in music education including primary, secondary, specialist schools and instrumental services.
James is currently a visiting music specialist in primary schools in Edinburgh. He has worked for NYCoS with the Edinburgh Area Choirs for the past 4 years and with the National Boys Choir.
He is thrilled to have the opportunity to direct this new choir.
