Biography
Kirstie graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama
with BA Honours in 1994. She studied singing with Elizabeth Izatt
and was the winner of the Florence Veitch Ibler Prize for Oratorio
in her final year.
As a soloist, Kirstie has recently performed with the BT Scottish
Ensemble, the Edinburgh Royal Choral Union and the Edinburgh Bach
Choir. She is a member of the group Crafty Musick who perform regularly
in venues such as Edinburgh and Stirling Castles.
Since graduating from the RSAMD, Kirstie has worked as a Music Instructor
in singing for Falkirk Council. She is the conductor of the Regional
Girls' choir who performed live on the BBC last summer during the
Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Kirstie was very pleased to be appointed Director of the NYCoS Falkirk Area Choirs
in August 2002. She
was delighted to be invited to join the music staff of the NYCoS
National Boys Choir in 2005 as a choral coach and also a vocal coach
for the NYCoS National Girls Choir earlier this year.
