Biography
Audrey was born in Glasgow and trained at the RSAMD where she studied singing with Patricia Hay. After graduating with a BA
(Mus. Perf.) she continued her studies specialising in Lieder and Oratorio work gaining a DRSAMD. After a year's training at Moray House College of Education, Audrey taught in both primary and secondary sectors. She has been Head of Music at Dalbeattie High School for a number of years now where she has successfully directed a number of musical concerts and shows such as Oliver, The King and I , The Wizard of Oz, Grease, Aladdin and The Sound of Music.
In her spare time Audrey occasionally sings for various Choral Societies and Music Clubs and is a member of the female singing group the "Dolce Divas". Audrey used to conduct the Lockerbie Singers. She is delighted to be working with NYCoS and is enjoying helping to promote good singing throughout Dumfries and Galloway.
