Mini Music Makers

All Mini Music Maker leaders have been trained  by NYCoS and are a mix of nursery teachers, music specialists and freelance professional musicians. All prospective leaders come to our Training Weekend, attend follow-up sessions, shadow existing staff and become involved in team teaching and monitoring sessions. Administrative support, resources and ongoing training opportunities are all provided.

If you think you have what it takes to be a Mini Music Maker Leader, why not attend one of our training events and see if it is for you. You don’t need to be a professional singer, or indeed have a formal music qualification, but you do need to be committed to our Kodály based principles. Training includes choosing appropriate repertoire, lesson planning and practical activities.
